South Devon Crab Festival

Where else but in South Devon would you find a week-long festival dedicated to crabs and all things crabby? The South Devon Crab Festival is held all over South Devon at various locations and includes events, tasting, demonstrations, crabbing competitions and a range of beach events to enjoy.

This year's festival finished with a great weekend of fun at the Shaldon Water Carnival, and the Crab Street Party in Dartmouth. You can see pictures from the festival over on our Facebook page.

The week long celebration of South Devon Crab included photography competitions, crab cracking demos, cooking demonstrations, boat trips, train rides and special crab menus at a range of local restaurants, pubs and hotels.
