RAISE (Rural Arts In Science Education) is an education for sustainable development project based at Beenleigh Meadows Farm near Totnes in South Devon providing a curriculum for learning the practical skills required for sustainable living. Different tutors and course leaders run a varied curriculum of short courses to suit the broad spectrum of sciences and rural arts connected to sustainability. Practical teaching uses a wholistic, inter-disciplinary approach.
We are CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme ) accredited and fully CRB checked. We offer our courses on our farm as well as specially tailored experiences for school classes of all ages.
