We have been promoting Dartmoor and supporting local businesses for more than 30 years as the Dartmoor Tourist Association. In March 2008, we joined forces with West Devon Borough Council, Dartmoor National Park Authority and The Duchy of Cornwall to form the Dartmoor Partnership.

 

The partnership is now established as the official tourism and trade organization for Dartmoor, a representative for local people, local business and a champion of Dartmoor as a tourist destination. We aim to ensure that Dartmoor thrives in any economy. It is a special place to live, work and holiday, a destination that offers something for everyone; through tourism and trade, we want to ensure that it stays that way.

 

We promote Dartmoor as the No 1 place to visit because we believe it is. It is a region rich in natural beauty, rich in local produce and championing sustainable living. Through our website, publications and targeted marketing and PR campaigns, we are able to reach a large audience, spreading the news about Dartmoor and what it has to offer.

We have a dedicated PR staff member and are happy to provide the latest information about Dartmoor to journalists, businesses and all media. 

We can issue images at the drop of a hat, or provide event listings from fireworks to film premieres; we can source walking and cycling routes, wild swimming spots and where best to wild camp.
