Hazelcott is an ideal base for exploring Dartmoor and Devon. Situated in a peaceful location within the Parish of Manaton, yet within walking distance of two excellent pubs. If you enjoy walking or cycling, there are many routes from our door.

Your award winning breakfast is cooked on our Aga, using local produce and our own free range eggs. We are Licenced and can offer a range of fine wines to supplement your meal.

You have superb views from all bedrooms, plus a log fire in the guest lounge.

Our 3 room “Haytor suite” has a magnificent Emperor bed, its own lounge/library with colour TV, video and Hi Fi, and a luxury bathroom with oversize shower and spa bath.This room can also be made up as a twin bed room.

“Houndtor” room has panoramic windows with views over the garden and Lustleigh Cleave. It has a double bed, colour TV and sitting area, with a modern en suite shower and toilet.

“Horsham” is a double, en suite, ground floor room, with superb views. This room is ideal for those with limited mobility, or anyone who likes wide vista’s from the window.

We are part of the DNPA wealth of Wildlife Scheme, and we have just been awarded our Charter for Sustainable Tourism, of which we are very proud.
The AA have again awarded us the prestigious 4 Red Diamonds for 2006/07. This places us in the top 10% of UK Bed and Breakfasts.

Road Directions

From the A38 travel towards Bovey Tracey.

At the fire station turn left towards Manaton, and follow the road for 5 miles. Passing the Kestor Inn in Manaton, continue for a further half mile before turning right at the crossroads.

Keep the church, village green and parish hall on your left, Hazelcott is half a mile down the hill also on your left.
