Powdermills Pottery

Powdermills Pottery offers:
- Seasonal cream teas
- Unique wood-fired pottery made on site using clays and materials gathered from around the moor.
- A range of useful items made by dartmoor's finest craftspeople from willow, leather, wood, wool, bee products and more.

A small family-run pottery in the very centre of Dartmoor.

The resident pottery, Joss Hibbs, makes useful pottery from clays, plants and rocks found on and around Dartmoor. Even the wood to fuel the kiln is sources from a moorland sawmill. The result is a range of tableware soaked in the mood of the moor.

As well as selling the pots made on site, Powdermills gathers the work of some of the best Dartmoor craftspeople. The shop holds a collection of baskets, handspun woollen clothing, leather bags, music and furniture to name but a few. You will find hand-made chocolates made on the high moor, and a range of honey or beeswax-based products.

Between June and September cream teas are served in the courtyard from 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Free-range eggs sold when available.
