Have you seen the film? War Horse has been packing out the cinemas since its release in January 2012 and the most overwhelming response has been that the locations in the film are outstanding. A large proportion of the filming took place right here on Dartmoor. We have created a map of the locations so that you can download and print off and go and see the film locations yourself.
The most recognisable location was Ditsworthy Warren House where Albert lived with his family. The farmhouse was reconstructed as in reality, the building is a ruin. Please do bear in mind that the building itself is private property.
