Meldon Reservoir

Surrounded by open moorland, Meldon is a breathtaking reservoir lake 900 feet above sea level teeming with native wildlife; befriend one of the fishermen sat on the steep banks and you may glimpse a brown trout! After the vast wilderness of the moor this is the perfect place to settle for lunch or stroll around the reservoir. From here, there are good links to other sites on the moor, such as Black a Tor Copse.
