One of the most important ingredients is the right entertainment for your reception – a recent survey in DJ Magazine showed that 78% of newly-weds wish they had allocated a higher budget for a better Disco.

In other words, over three quarters of those asked had tried to save money by booking a poor quality or un-tested Disco for the most important event in their lives!

Personally I believe that getting the music and atmosphere right is the most important part of any special family occasion.

Each event is unique and it is my responsibility to deliver the perfect party for you and your guests. As a highly professional and experienced DJ, I will read your audience and will instinctively know what music to play. When planning a wedding party - or any kind of special occasion - there are some basic questions you need to ask:-

1 Is the disco of good quality – will both the DJ and the equipment deliver the quality of entertainment we expect?

2 Is the DJ reliable – will he turn up on time, correctly dressed and with all the right music and equipment?

3 Will he play the right songs – will he play our requests, and will he maintain the appropriate atmosphere?

4 Will the disco equipment be appropriate and safe – is the sound quality good enough and does the DJ have public liability insurance? Is all the equipment PAT tested?

5 Will we have a written contract defining the terms and services we have agreed?

I believe that shopping locally is very often the best way to source goods and services you can trust. Look for a genuine independent Mobile Disco, preferably one who is well known and established in your local area. It should then be simple to go along and watch them in action at a local gig, or to obtain some genuine references and recommendations.
