The Wharf, Tavistocl

The Wharf has been described as the Jewel of Tavistock - one of the most elegant towns in the South West. Located between the River Tavy and the Tavistock canal, the Wharf was built in the eighteenth century as a busy industrial centre, and was converted by the local council to its present form in 1995. Since then it has been privately run as an arts centre with theatre, concert hall, cinema and art gallery, with a unique waterside coffee shop and bar.
