Appleown House

We are pleased to welcome you to Appledown House Country Bed and Breakfast, which is set in a lovely rural location in the heart of the Devon countryside, just about as far away from the stresses and strains of your normal life as you want to be, yet centrally placed and within easy travelling distance of Dartmoor and most of Devon & Cornwall.  Our rooms are en-suite and we have a double, a twin/superking and a king, all of which are comfortable, light and airy, with soft fluffy towels and tea/coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms (the double and the twin/superking) are based in the detached ground floor annexe and have interconnecting doors for family/friends, although each of these two rooms has its own separate 'front' door.  The en-suite twin/superking has its own conservatory with superb views over the beautiful Devon countryside towards Dartmoor. A further room (the king) also has gorgeous views towards Dartmoor and is on the first floor of the main house . Well behaved children are welcome. Our heated swimming pool (open during the summer months) is set in its own terrace and our free-range chickens provide you with wholesome fresh eggs for your breakfast. We have ample off road parking for all our guests, cycle storage and a drying area. We look forward to welcoming you!

WEDDINGS:  Stunning views, lovely rooms and a leisurely, relaxing breakfast awaits wedding guests staying at Appledown House Country Bed & Breakfast in Lamerton, near Tavistock and Dartmoor.
