Appledown House
Road Directions
Appledown House is easy to find and is just a short 7 minute drive from Tavistock, in the beautiful Devon countryside. From Tavistock town centre proceed past the Bedford Hotel along the A386 Plymouth Road to Drake’s statue roundabout. Take the 2nd exit. At the next mini roundabout, with the SPAR shop facing you, take the 2nd exit into Ford Street. At the next mini roundabout take the 1st exit (sharp left) into Spring Hill, signposted Lamerton. Proceed up the hill passing Tavistock Hospital on the left. Continue along this road for approximately 3 miles bypassing the sign for Lamerton and passing the Blacksmith's Arms village pub on the right. Continue for approximately 0.5m. Ignoring the left fork sign for Chipshop and Gulworthy, turn left at the crossroads also signed Chipshop & Gulworthy**. The entrance to Appledown House is on your left. ** Satnav users please note you will be directed to the bungalow at the bottom of our garden continue past the bungalow (on your right) and turn right at the crossroads. The entrance to Appledown House is on your right.
