We feel that it is important to promote and encourage quality in our accommodation providers. Therefore, each and every one of our accommodation providers is inspected, either by Visit Britain, the AA or our own local Dartmoor Partnership inspection scheme.

Hotels, b&bs, guest houses, self catering accommodation, caravan and camping sites are awarded one to five stars based on the quality of standards, service and hospitality.

            Dartmoor Partnership

This is awarded for conservation; for the promotion and appreciation of Dartmoor culture, food, events, heritage and the natural environment.Find out more about Dartmoor First.

         Green Tourism Business Scheme

This is an accreditation scheme that awards gold, silver or bronze awards for work in areas such as evergy and water efficiency, waste management and biodiversity.

For providers offering character, good cooking and fair prices.

          Farm Stay UK

For providers offering home cooking, fine views and the chance to get out in the open air.
