Lurcombe is a working Farm on the edge of Dartmoor Park and a cosy countryside retreat. Parts of the buildings have been lovingly converted into luxury Apartments ‘The Granary’ and ‘The Mill’
When you come to stay at Lurcombe, we really want you to feel at home. Your new home is located in a hidden valley that slopes down to a small stream and ‘The Granary’ and ‘The Mill’ overlook the beautiful field ‘Great Orchard’. There are four ponds along the stream including a small fishing lake filled with carp and a tennis court available for your use. Set in glorious surroundings, woodland walks are a stones’ throw from your home. Lurcombe truly is an exquisite place to stay, and full of Devon charm.
Both apartments 'The Mill'and 'The Granary' are exquisite and equipped to a very high standard (vaulted ceilings/exposed beams/chandeliers/ornate mantlepiece/designed sunken shower for two people) The kitchens are fully equipped (oven/dishwasher/fridge/freezer) for a gourmet dinner or quick breakfast (a basic kitchen caddy of tea/coffee/herbs/salt and pepper is provided) plus fresh eggs, milk, wine, towels and linen.
Snooze away the days activities with a super king bed made from gorgeous reclaimed oak and relax in the charm of your lovingly converted Dartmoor Apartment.
