Taw Cottage

Taw Cottage lies in a secluded country setting in the tiny hamlet of Taw Green. The cottage is a comfortable detached former barn and is set within its own separate private garden with views of Dartmoor. The cottage has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard, offering ideal family accommodation for up to four persons (plus one infant).

The accommodation briefly comprises of:

Ground Floor: Spacious living/dining room with Freeview TV/DVD player and Wi-fi. Spacious modern well-equipped kitchen, 1 Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom inc. shower, bath & toilet. Separate cloakroom.

First Floor: 1 twin bedroom, separate bathroom inc. shower, bath & toilet.

Outside: The cottage has its own private garden consisting of a flat, lawned area with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. The garden has access to a two-acre paddock with 900 yeards of river bank to enjoy. There is also off-road parking for two vehicles.

We are located on the northern fringe of Dartmoor National Park which offers excellent walking opportunities and is just 5 mins drive away. There are a number of friendly local pubs in the nearby villages of Sticklepath, and South Zeal approximately 1½ miles. The nearest main town is Okehampton which is approximately 5 miles away.

Both north and south Devon coasts can be accessed within an hour's drive with beaches such as Dawlish, Exmouth, Teignmouth or Bude. Historic and NT sites to explore include the Museum of Dartmoor Life & Castle Drogo. Golf, riding and fishing are all available locally.
