Detached, historic wheelwright’s workshop. Romantic hideaway. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Secluded position on a very quiet lane which leads to open moorland. Network of footpaths and cycling from the door. VisitBritain 3 star. Sleeps 2 plus child.
Cosy, comfortable accommodation comprising 1 double bedroom and separate living /kitchen/ dining area. Shower room and separate toilet. Cream tea and personal welcome. Newspapers and evening meal on arrival available(pre booked). Sally and Christopher live at Thorn Cottage, further up the lane, and invite you to share their extensive garden and woodland (please note garden is not attached to property, but there is a small patio, immediately outside for guests to enjoy). Allocated parking for one vehicle in parking area adjacent to owner’s cottage (40m).
Excellent pubs/restaurants within a short drive. Nearest shop/post office 2miles. Tavistock 5 miles.
