This converted traditional barn boasts impressive views over valleys, woodland and lake. It is situated in tranquil Devonshire scenery but only a short distance from access to the West Country's main trunk route. The 450 acre farm is steeped with historic connections to Sir Walter Raleigh's expeditions and also offers 75 acres of woodland with an abundance of wildlife. Nearby Roadford Lake offers fishing and watersports and the magnificent Dartmoor Tors provide unrivalled views with pony trekking opportunities. The barn is surrounded by other beauty spots, such as Lydford Gorge, Okehampton Castle and many local pubs and restaurants serving good food.
The split level accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: 3 doubles with en-suite shower and WC, and 2 twin rooms. Bathroom: with shower and WC. Lounge/diner: with exposed beams, TV, DVD, video and hi-fi. Cosy snug with woodburner and lovely views. Kitchen: with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: with washing machine and tumble dryer.
