Weddings@Adventure Okehampton

YHA Okehampton consists of two sites on the south side of Okehampton Town on the edge of Dartmoor. The original site, The Goods Shed, is adjacent to Okehampton Station, whereas Bracken Tor, which features Bracken Tor House and The Filter House, is further out of town, right on the edge of Dartmoor.

All of our accommodation is centrally heated, the bedrooms contain bunk beds and are either 2, 4, 6 or 8 bedded rooms. There are dining room facilities offering full board catering for groups and individuals, as well as self catering kitchens. During school term times both our sites benefit from communal rooms which are allocated to specific groups. When the hostel is not in use by groups these rooms are available for use by everyone, and can be booked for conferences. Our sites also have large outdoor spaces providing seating areas, activity facilities and recreational areas.

The Goods Shed has a total of 115 beds in 24 rooms.

Bracken Tor has a total of 52 beds in 11 rooms, there are two separate buildings Bracken Tor House 34 beds and The Filter House 18 beds.

Want a Wedding party with a difference. How about basing it at our Activity centre, Bracken Tor, Okehampton.  Fantastic 4 acre site on the edge of Dartmoor with 11 bedrooms of accommodation.   Fully licensed bar, full catering service. We could offer a range of activities for your guests includes high ropes, kayaking, gorge scrambling and much "moor".
