  Go Food Foraging for Free on a Self Catering Break in Devon this Half Term
  May 2013: If you go down to the woods today...Families can look forward to free foraging fun at Woodovis Park in Devon this May half term, as well as a 25% discount on self-catering accommodation.

  Woodovis Park sits in 14 acres in the tranquil surrounds of the Tamar Valley on the Devon-Cornwall border, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a designated World Heritage Site. The free food foraging forays – launching this half term and available in school holidays – are in the company of professional ecologist and forager, Ceri Richards. During the 1-2 hour walk around the site, guests will learn how to forage safely, legally and sustainably, identify numerous edible and otherwise useful local plants and sample a range of wild foods.
  Other family-friendly features at Woodovis Park include a new outdoor table tennis area and solar-heated, indoor swimming pool. Kids can also sign up for archery and ‘water walking’ in the pool while adults relax in the infrared therapy sauna.
